She is a columnist for Forbes.com. She has written for publications ranging from The New York Times to Motor Trend. She is frequently quoted by publications across the globe on automotive industry news and issues. Krebs is president of the Society of Automotive Analysts and a board member and past president of the Automotive Press Association. She is a juror on the North American Car and Truck of the Year and was a juror on the Car of the Century. Krebs has been an adjunct professor of journalism at Oakland University and of business at Detroit's College for Creative Studies. Krebs is a graduate of Syracuse University with an English degree and a degree in magazine journalism from the Newhouse School.
