John Qian is the regional operation manager at Taobao Global Merchandiser Alliance (TGMA-ANZ), one of the key Service Partners in the Alibaba Taobao ecosystem. Its main function is to bridge the Australian and New Zealand companies with Taobao retailers, to incubate the local SME brands, and to increase the brand awareness in the Chinese consumer market by cooperating with its member Key Opinion Leaders at Taobao Global live stream platforms.
TGMA-ANZ currently has hundreds of Taobao merchandisers living and working in the ANZ regions. They link millions of loyal customers daily throughout Alibaba e-platforms.
Having studied, worked and lived in Australia since his migration from China in 1989, John has a deep understanding of the Australian way of life, and also has built a wealth of knowledge and experience in business operations. He has successfully owned and managed a number of businesses across the sectors of IT distribution, international trading, product procurement and project management.
