This fireside chat is an interview -- with Q and A -- featuring the woman who formerly ran Ellen DeGeneres' digital network and is now president of burgeoning women's lifestyle brand Brit+Co. Jill Braff will use examples from her current and past roles to highlight effective ways to connect with consumers.
Jill Braff is an EIR and advisor on kid ventures at UNICEF, a United Nations program that promotes the rights and well-being of every child in 190 countries and territories. Prior to UNICEF, she was executive vice president for digital commerce at HSN.
Previously, Braff was the president and CEO of Scrapblog. She also served as the senior vice president for global publishing at Glu Mobile.
Before joining Glu Mobile, Braff held senior marketing positions at Sega of America and Konami of America. In addition to her gaming experience, she also held management positions at consumer web service companies such as Photopoint Corporation and Ancestry.com. She also held positions at The Learning Company, Nintendo of America and Griffin Bacal.
In 2008, Braff was named by Digital Media Wire as one of the top 25 digital entertainment executives to watch, and in 2007 she was honored as one of the 40 most influential people under 40 in Silicon Valley by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. Braff was also named one of the game industry’s 100 most influential women by Next Generation in 2006.
Braff obtained bachelor’s degree from Colgate University.
