Nicole leads growth initiatives at NAC Worldwide, a data-driven marketing studio operating in the new global economy.
She is also a writer for several websites including Everwise and Thrive Global.
Until May of 2016 Nicole led digital marketing efforts at mobile app Chosen. She helped close a key deal with The Ellen DeGeneres Show with the inaugurate game “Ellen’s Dance Off,” followed by “Cutest Pets” and “Lookalike Challenge.”
Formerly, she worked at Fueled, a mobile design and development company based in New York, with offices in Chicago and London. As Head of Accounts she managed and oversaw all account department activities including billing, resourcing, and project management.
She moved to NYC in fall of 2012 to work at The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation where she led interactive efforts and digital strategy for the BMW Guggenheim Lab. Part urban think tank and part community space, the Lab explored new ideas for city life. It traveled to New York, Berlin, and Mumbai with a culmination of findings exhibited at the Guggenheim museum in New York City from Fall of 2013 – January 2014.
In Los Angeles, Nicole worked at Mobile Roadie as Head of VIP Client and Partner Relations. While at Mobile Roadie she produced apps for clientele like the LA Kings, Madonna, Cristiano Ronaldo, the Staples Center, and the San Diego Zoo. She forged strategic partnerships, closed deals, and worked on in-app integrations such as live video streaming and interactive maps.
At Yahoo! Music Nicole worked as Interactive Director of Partner Relations where she worked closely with label partners to secure, produce and program exclusive content. She programmed audio & video content for the site’s 300+ music channels and oversaw social media strategy.
At NPR-affiliate KCRW, she oversaw all social media initiatives leading to over 30,000 friends, followers, and fans of the station. She handled content programming, blogs, and page build-outs for the site.
She began her career in new media by working her way up to Associate Producer at the now-defunct Ten Music, where she worked directly with brands like Grey Goose, Mercedes, and the NHL. She had the opportunity to work closely with top-tier advertising agencies and music producers including The Transcenders, RedCola, and The Rondo Brothers, and scouted and secured licenses for bands to be featured in digital campaigns for Target and Toyota.
As a writer, Nicole has contributed to Indie Shuffle, Seen All Over, Yahoo’s As Heard On, and Laist. She’s worked with The Daily Swarm, a directory of music news sources and headlines; Flavorpill, a daily guide to quality cultural events in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, and London; and Made This For You, a place to discuss, collaborate and implement various design solutions for social change.
Currently, she writes on Medium and Tumblr in addition to her personal site, tinywords.co.

Nicole began pursuing her passion for radio at the age of 17 with a 4-6am on-air stint at WBGU. She quickly moved up the ranks to Production Director, and two years later took a position as show host and Production Coordinator for ohio.fm, one of the first college radio stations to stream online.
After moving to Boston in 2002 she joined WERS and helped grow the electronic music program while hosting live DJs and local Boston talent on her show, Revolutions.
Two years later, she relocated to Los Angeles and began volunteering at KCRW where she worked with cultural tastemaker Garth Trinidad on his Saturday evening music program. In addition to working with Garth she has trained under noted Music Supervision luminaries such as Anne Litt, Nic Harcourt, and Chris Douridas.
In early 2012 she started her own show on Moheak.com, and later started a second at underground LA station KCHUNG Radio.
As part of the DJ duo Stranger Danger Nicole has performed at various venues around Los Angeles including The Greek Theatre, The Hammer Museum, the Cooper Design Space and the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, with a longtime monthly residency at Blipsy’s Barcade.
She has also served as Resident DJ for It’s A School Night, a weekly music showcase presented by KCRW in NYC.
Nicole holds a B.A. in Information Communication Processes from Ohio State University and an M.A. in Visual and Media Arts with an emphasis in New Media from Emerson College.
In summer of 2013 she completed a month-long residency at ITP Camp, an extension of the two-year Interactive Telecommunications graduate program at New York University.
